Helpful hints from
Schmoopy Dad
Save paper towel and wrapping paper rolls
and use them to keep boots upright in the
closet.
When grocery shopping in the frozen or
refrigerated aisles, pass over the front item
and grab what you need closer to the back.
Items that have been left out and replaced
throughout the day are likely to be in front
and you don't want those.
Replace scratched or gouged non-stick pans. Also don't put
hot liquid into plastic mugs. We don't know how much Teflon
or plastic might leech into your food and beverages so why
take a chance?
How to calm everyone down when Maria gets mud on
Mom's dress shoes
Wait until the mud is completely dry. Use a dry washcloth
or brush to scrape off as much dirt as possible. Dampen a
clean washcloth - it should be barely moist - you don't
want the dry mud to turn into wet mud and end up making
it worse. Test on a small inconspicuous spot first. Spot
clean with a damp washcloth and repeat with a clean, dry
cloth until they look good as new.
Yelling and screaming ends.
